Philosophy of Sundays PDF Print E-mail
sundaysAlthough Jubilee Church Kirkby is not just about Sundays, our meetings together one very important to us. They are an opportunity for us to welcome guests, grow as Christians and to worship God together.

Our desire is to hold church services where those who don’t usually attend church will feel welcomed and experience God’s presence for themselves. With that in mind there are a number of things that we try to remember:

  1. God must be the focus of our worship
  2. Our message must centre on Jesus
  3. Everyone must have a part to play in ministry
  4. Nothing can be accomplished without the work of the Holy Spirit
  5. Everything we do must be accessible to those who are not-yet-Christians
  6. Everything we do must reflect the character of God
  7. Our goal is to enable everyone to progress along their faith journey
